Standaard Wetteren is a Belgian association football club team from Wetteren. Its matricule is 5479. They became champions in Third Division A in the 2008–09 season and thus will promote for the first time in their history to Second Division.
The club was originally founded as an amateur club named Standaard Molenhoek. They changed their name to Football Club Standaard Wetteren in 1951 as they chose to register with the Belgian Football Association.
